The Municipal Art Gallery of Chania presents the exhibition 'No Limits' from the 10th of June 2013 to the 30th of September 2013 with paintings from the collection of Frissiras Museum.
‘No limits’ is the exhibition title because there are no limits in the world of painting today, having surpassed all geographical, national, religious or political limits, achieving in action a transcendence which should be used as our model-guide to overcome the bigger challenges humanity faces today in this era of globalization. Consequently, to the alienation and the suspiciousness which characterize contemporary societies, this exhibition, through the works of forty eight painters from all over the world, proposes instead the productive artistic exchange of ideas as the only way to progress and the creation of a new, full of hope and promise, future.
