A Panorama of Arts & Cretan Culture in Chania, under the full moon of August

The established Cretan Festival of arts & culture 'festivalaki' welcomes us this year at the Venetian port of Chania and the historical bastion “San Salvatore” on Sunday August 10 (the largest full moon of the year). Your 'hosts' will be Cretan violin player Antonis Martsakis, Leonidas and Chara Lainaki, Eteokrites group and the Cultural Association 'Rodon'. A journey through the music and dance traditions of western Crete with a variety of parallel events (exhibitions, speeches, screenings, workshops, ect). A panorama of arts & culture with the participation of over 80 artists and creators and the collective effort of organizers and visitors.

Lovers of photography art have sumbitted their works to the exhibition of the festival, under the theme 'Mountainous Crete'. More information and the analytical program will be available soon at the official website: www.festivalaki.gr.
