On Tuesday, 21st of July 2015, at 8:00pm, the ResidenceSEA will introduce the sound artist Tasos Stamou. As the title 'Musique con Crète' suggests, his research during his stay is focused on traditional Cretan music and the geographic space of Crete, using contemporary media. After the presentation there will be a party with extreme music djing. The entrance of the presentation is free. ResidenceSEA is an artist residence behind the Pankritio stadium, at the end of Kilkis road. Before the presentation, ResidenceSEA will open its doors on Monday, 20th of July 2015, from 5:00 till 10:00pm, for a circuit bending/hacking sound toys workshop, led by sound artist Tasos Stamou. The workshop provides an introduction to modifying techniques and alternative electronic instrument designs.
