Music night with original compositions of Paul Goodman at the Museum garden.
Paul Goodman: lyra, saz
Manolia Kokoloyianni: lyra
Maritzia Katsouna: percussion
Original melodies from the lyras of Paul Goodman and Manolia Kokoloyianni, accompanied by the percussion of Maritzia Katsouna, will fascinate visitors who will come on Wednesday September 16, 2015, at 21.00, in the garden of the Historical Museum of Crete.
Paul Goodman and Manolia Kokoloyianni collaborate for years and have both studied next to great masters of lyra. Exploring the multiple possibilities of the instrument and systematically investigating regionally varieties of its expression, they create their own personal music and sounds.
On Wednesday night, the Historical Museum of Crete will be open from 20.30 to 23.30. During this time, the museum shop will remain open, as well as the bar, serving drinks at the garden and veranda with a view to the sea.
With reduced entrance fee for all (4€), visitors will have the chance to enjoy the music of these exceptional artists and take a night tour at the permanent collections of the Museum.
