May comes to an end, and the Co-op cafe "Ploumi" celebrates its second birthday!
The "birthday party" will last four days, from Friday May 27 to Monday May 30, 2016. Events include a traditional "Karagoz" shadow theatre, live music and a festive atmosphere created by the musicians, artists and customers that supported Ploumi and its actions all this time.
Friday May 27
A traditional "Karagoz" shadow theatre by G. Papadopoulos and G. Kritikos accompanied by live music by Yiannis Paximadakis and Nikos Stamatakis, which will continue for the rest of the night and the party that will follow!

Saturday May 28
Birthday concert with Paul Goodman trio at 21:00. Paul Goodman (lyra, saz), Manolia Kokoloyianni (lyra) and Stelios Kassapakis (oud) will offer us another high quality concert in Ploumi.

Sunday May 29
A traditional music feast with Kostis Malakis, Nikos Stamatakis and Manolis Tzanakis starting in the afternoon. Cretan music, rebetiko and other traditional music from Greece in a classic festive Sunday programme in Ploumi.
Monday 30
Giorgis Xylouris (Psarogiorgis)needs no introductions. A member of the popular music family of Crete, Xylouris family, Psarogiorgis today is famous internationally but always comes back to his birthplace and offers us unique music nights, full of surprises. Don't miss him on Monday May 30, at 21:00.
