Thievery Corporation live in Crete - Texnopolis Theatre

Additional Info

Thievery Corporation, one of the most popular bands in Greece, are coming in Crete on Sunday June 18, for a unique summer concert at Technopolis Theater! This year the band celebrates its 20th year in the music scene and presents for the first time a unique musical event with all the 15 members of the group, featuring the songs we all loved as well as new songs from their recently released album "Temple of I and I". The unbeatable music twins, Eric Hilton & Rob Garza, and Thievery Corporation will appear together for the first time in Heraklion!

Thievery Corporation is one of the most popular bands of the international downtempo/dub/trip hop/electronica scene. Since their creation in 1995, at Washighton DC, they have managed to create their own eclectic sound, blending Jamaican dub reggae, bossanova, Brazilian, acid and nu-jazz, downtempo, electronica and breakbeat sounds with beautiful female vocals and dynamic hip hop rhymes. Today, they are considered to be one of the top live acts on the planet and it is interesting to note that their success was never dependent on multinational music companies or promotional companies that would provide them with fancy video clips.
