The first confirmed band are the mighty German metallers BLIND GUARDIAN for an EXCLUSIVE GREEK SHOW, a legendary band of the European metal scene that will perform for the first time under the blue sky of Crete on June 30th ! One of the most beloved metal bands in Greece!
Chania Rock Festival is proud to announce the second band of this year’s edition, the mighty WARLORD, that will perform on July 1st in an EXCLUSIVE EUROPEAN SHOW this summer! Very few bands have managed to influence the heavy metal music with only 2 releases in their primary years. A live that cannot be missed by any metal fan!
Third announcement for the 2017 edition is one of the hottest metal bands in Greece for this year, INNER WISH! The release of their new album “Innerwish” placed them back to our metal hearts where they belong! Their singles “Rain of a thousand years”, “Needles in my mind” and “Modern Babylon” are played in every metal bar! Chania Rock Festival welcomes Innerwish!
2017 begins with the addition of the dark/extreme metal titans SEPTIC FLESH to the current line up! One of the most known Greek bands worldwide, one of the prides of the Greek metal scene will be playing at Chania Rock Festival for the first time, on June 30th, 2017, adding a scent of darkness and symphonic death metal to the festival!
This is just the beginning of announcements for Chania Rock Festival, the only 2day rock & metal festival in Greece! More bands will be announced from the international and Greek roc & metal scene!
