Lizet Alea, known as the lead singer of Nouvelle Vague, is coming to Crete for 4 unique performances, presenting her own work, but also covers of Nouvelle Vague, together with the drumer of the band Julien Boye. Get ready for amazing melodies and intense heartbeats, the effect of Lizet's magical voice!

Liset Alea is a Cuban-American singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who lives in Paris, best known as a solo artist and lead singer in Nouvelle Vague. She has lived in Cuba, Costa Rica, Miami, New York, Amsterdam, London and Paris, where she currently resides. In 1998, Alea co-founded drum & bass/trip hop band Etro Anime. She co-wrote all the songs and provided lead vocals on their 2003 album See the Sound. Soon after, she left the band to pursue a solo career. Her debut LP, No Sleep, was released in multiple European territories on EMI in 2005 and was on the Top 40 charts in the Netherlands for 15 weeks. She has performed with Nouvelle Vague, Terence Trent D’arby, DJ AlexKid, Kosheen, Raul Paz, Laurent Garnier and Llorca. Recently she performed in Cuba with Juanes at the concert “Paz Sin Fronteras”, in front of 1.2 million people in Plaza de la Revolucion (Habana) together with Miguel Bosé, Silvio Rodriguez, Olga Tañon, Orishas, and more.
