Μonitor Fest 2017 welcomes Σtella & Tango with Lions (band), artists of the pop / electro music scene on Saturday November 4 @Cine Studio, Heraklion Crete.
Σtella
Σtella (Stella Chronopoulou) is a composer, singer, musician and painter. She was born and raised in Athens. She started composing music while studying at the School of Fine Arts.
In the beginning of 2015 her first album was released from the production company Inner Ear Records, and soon became one of the most successful Greek indie pop albums of the year. Her tracks "Detox" and "Picking Words" quickly became popular in radio stations and her fans.
In 2017, Σtella released her second album "Works For You" and in March 2017 she performed in South by Southwest (SXSW), in Austin, Texas USA, one of the biggest and most important festivals in the world.

Tango with Lions
Tango with Lions (band) were formed in 2007 by Κat (Katerina Pappachristou). Their debut album, “Verba Time”, was released 2010 and was highly acclaimed by music critis, while their track “In A Bar” has broke a record in youtube (5.500.000 views and counting!). Their second album “A Long Walk” was released in spring 2013 and was included in the best albums of the year by the music press.
The tracks of Tango with Lions is a long musical walk, where bittersweet melodies and dreamy lyrics meet imaginative orchestrations. Atmospheric electricity with dark outbreaks, mystic melodies with the trombone, an old piano, a dark and heavy rhythm section, create a unique atmosphere that follows Kat's voice. Each song by Tango with Lions is a small story, about dark dreams, nocturnal travels, shiny fantasies, memories and tales of love and separation.
