A unique concert with the internationally acclaimed Cretan artist Yiorgis Xilouris (Psarogiorgis) @the Natural History Museum of Crete on Wednesday December 6 at 21:00. The concert is part of the 10-year anniversary celebration of the Museum's permanent exhibition.
Legendary lute-player Giorgos Xilouris (aka psarogiorgis) is well known for his long family heritage in music and his internationally recognized talent, which led to many international collaborations and world tours. Psarogiorgis is a distinguished cretan musician who approaches the primitive traditional sound in a creative way. In his performance @the Museum he will present traditional songs, his own compositions & improvisations together with Yiannis Papatzanis (percussion, vocals) and Yiannis Polychronakis (contrabass), two of the most important contemporary musicians of Crete.
Lyrarakis Winery and Manoura Farms will offer treats to the museum guests.
