Solidart brings together a variety of artists and practices under one scope: to help fund the new refugee “hangout” (steki) at Delimarkou street. A collection of art pieces celebrating social strength in the face of adversity.
This exhibition has been put together in a kind of egalitarian spirit at Diatiriteo space. The artworks are all for sale at very low prices and 100% of the money raised is will be donated to the new refugee “steki”. At the kick-off event on Friday February 23d, the local music group Alan Dalon will perform live for the public and various events will take place throughout the exhibition such as workshops and film screenings. The exhibition closes with an open feast on Saturday March 3rd with music and communal cooking on site.

The exhibition is also supported by Heraklio initiative for refugees and immigrants.
