The Initiative for Refugees and Immigrants of Heraklion has been active in the city since 2016, supporting refugees and immigrants in Heraklion in any way possible. At the same time, they organize events, festivals and activities to combat racism and xenophobia and bring the different cultures of Heraklion together in a creative dialogue. This year the Initiative found a place to host all its activities (language courses, cultural events, meetings ect), accessible and open to all. The opening multi-cultural party will take place this Sunday March 25, 2018.

18:00-20:00 Music of the world : music from west Africa (djembe, doundoun και African harp n’goni), Syrian, Kurdish and Afghan dances
20:00-22:00 Closing concert with 'Eran': Cretan & Minor Asia music
