Documentary: Freedom For Birth

The film narrates the story of two Hungarian women, Agnes Gereb and Anna Temovsky. Agnes Gereb was a nurse who was sent to prison for helping women give birth at home. Anna Ternovsky, when she was pregnant at her second child, denounced her country to the European Court of Human Rights, as the national legislation didn’t allow home birth. She was vindicated and due to her actions, she changed the way home birth is viewed internationally.
