Cine Studio presents Haig Yazdjian, one of the most important creators of the Greek world-jazz scene.
This time he is accompanied with a group of talented local musicians: Maria Fasoulaki (vocals), Manolis Kanakakis (Qanun) and Yiannis Papatzanis (percussion). Known for his unique music style and oud playing techniques and experimentations, Haig Yazdjian has gained international recognition. He has also played with Loreena McKennitt's in the album 'An Ancient Muse' (2006).
Born in Syria from Armenian parents, he lives and works in Greece since 1980. He explored the alluring elements of eastern music for many years and he found his way of expression in the oud.
