The Old Cafe (Palio Cafe)

"Palio Cafe" is an all time classic hangout, especially for students. Situated in a quiet little square, its nice and quiet for your morning coffee and buzzing noisy at nights. It is a nice place to learn how to play backgammon (tavli) during the day and experience the raki culture of the youth! You can order a small or large "pikilia" (a variety of mezze in one plate) to enjoy with your raki or beer and ask what extra mezze they have on the menu. There are two more "rakadika" next to palio kafe, all similar to each other, and when the weather is good the pedestrian street is full of life, covered with chairs and tables.
