Opus is housed in one of the most beautiful places in Heraklion, a Venetian building with stone arches in the interior. There are some modern touches in the interior decoration, always with respect to the character of the historic building. The piano you‘ll see here is not part of the decoration; it is actually used on live jazz nights that take place here occasionally. The wine list features the best wines from the Cretan vineyard and the menu consists of creative dishes from the Mediterranean cuisine. Opus is definitely the favorite bar of the city's elite. In the summer, the beautifully designed courtyard becomes a quiet, cool corner for coffee or a drink.
