The Shepherd of Asterousia

A short and rather modest documentary about George, a young shepherd living on Asterousia Mountains of Crete. The simplicity of the film goes well with the ascetic scenery of Asterousia as well as with the shepherd’s everyday routine.

As the film makers point out, “just 6 min from his daily life are enough to give us a sense of how it is to live in nature and with values that seem forgotten in urban landscapes and lifestyles”

The film participated in 2012 Kalamata Video Art Festival
