100+1 years before, at the port of Heraklion, when there was no coastal road and cruise ferries. The arsenali, the humble houses and the wooden boats in the lens of Fred Boissonas, from faraway 1911, during the years of the autonomous Cretan State. A time when the port gradually acquires an international importance and is connected to large ports of the Mediterranean, from Alexandria and Venice to Trieste and Marseille.
