To get there, you have to drive through a narrow (but easy) dirt road right through the gorge. In some parts, it is so narrow only one car can go through. Get over your claustrophobia and enjoy the adventure and unique scenery the Cretan land has to offer. After the mini safari inside the gorge, you will find yourself to a beach so tempting that (unfortunately) has made it quite popular lately. There are tents, trailers and many people on the beach; you won’t be alone here unless you come at the beginning or at the end of the summer. But if you take the beach dirt road towards Lentas, you will find small gulfs with green blue water and more peace.
